Vaseline distressing technique…OMG i now know how to distress furniture! paint 1 coat of color you want showing through; rub a very thin layer of Vaseline over the areas that you want the bottom color to show through; paint with another color on top; use 120-grit sand paper to distress; areas that had vaseline will show through!
