The Doors signed officially with Elektra Records in a deal for the band to produce 7 albums. The band members also reluctantly agreed to release ‘Break On Through’ as their first single (1966). 3. Blondie had their 5th UK No.1 single and 3rd No.1 of this year with their song 'The Tide Is High' (1980).
