No-one in my family shops on "Black Friday"! Instead of everyone being stressed out, exhausted and broke every Christmas, all the adults in my family draw names. That way, the kids can focus on THEIR children and not on everyone else. Of course the wife and I buy stuff for the grandkids, but they're either books or science games. We also do this in early November so everyone has time!
