The NRF collected data about this years Black Friday shopping. They found some similar trends from this year and last year. As retailers spread their deals out over several days shoppers are spreading out their shopping trips as well. One expert compared it to a football game saying Black Friday is more towards the end of the second quarter or half time. Many customers started their Christmas shopping way before Thanksgiving, and many are turning to online shopping deals. -Taylor Beach
